Backpacking
A trip outdoors can do wonders to the soul. The feel of the fresh air and the sight of nature’s bounty can be an exhilarating experience that is worth the time. Mountaineering provides a great escape to people who are always bound in the four walls of the office. Backpacking is a good example of enjoying the outdoors without risking and exerting too much physically.

Backpacking is often the combination of hiking and camping. Backpackers often enjoy the fascinating trails and paths. Whether they backpack alone or with companions, the common sight is the bulging backpacks that they carry the whole time. Because the hike may extend for days or longer periods, the backpack is an essential equipment to carry the necessary supplies to survive the wild outdoors.

In this effect, backpacks should ideally be made of light material for travellers to be able to endure the whole hike. Essentially, backpackers must carry the needed supplies for the survival of the great outdoors. These include packaged food and water, camping equipment and first aid supplies. Also, the equipment used must be able to withstand the harsh conditions in any given environment, and therefore made of light sturdy materials.
Hence, backpacking entails not only the focus and the determination to finish the mountain trail, but also the knowledge and skills of camping and nature-trekking.
